Admin Console

The Nullafi Shield Admin Console provides a graphical user interface for configuring policies, monitoring system status, and reviewing event data. It is a web application which can be accessed using any web browser. The Admin Console is available after the Shield container is started. Access is governed by the defined container options (see Deployment). In the simplest case, browsing to the container host’s IP address on the mapped NULLAFI_HTTP_PORT will open the Admin Console login screen, and using the configured credentials will allow the administrator to log in.

Policy

The Policy Engine is the core of Nullafi Shield. It inspects data in real time, classifies it, and determines whether it should be passed through, masked, or blocked. The Policy section in the Admin Console is where administrators define the rules that govern the engine's behavior.

Configuration

The Configuration section of the Admin Console manages the operational behavior of Nullafi Shield itself, separate from policy settings that control how data is handled. The Configuration section is where administrators set these system-level controls.

Activities

The Activities section of the Admin Console provides comprehensive visibility into the transactions processed by the Shield engine. It records information about traffic and data flowing through the system, as well as any Alerts triggered by policy rules. The Activities section is where administrators can audit data flow and gain operational insights.
